Model 3970 Vacuum Hi-Performance

This Air Sander is unlike any other Random Orbital Sander in the world. 

Due to a unique "captive-orbit counterweight system" and a Hutchins Patented Hi-Speed Reinforced Motor this sander uses a standard 3/16" offset in an ingenious way.

There are some rules about offsets, the larger the offset, the more strain is put on the bearings and with that is more vibration.

The "captive-orbit system" keeps with the long-life and low-vibration of a 3/16" while SuperCharging the 3/16" offset 50% more often which provides 40% more cutting and sanding power than a standard 3/16" and 25% more cutting power than even a 5/16" sander.

Equipped with a VA PSA/Stick-style Pad for use with a vacuum system.
